MSNBC insinuates again that all Republican are Racist from the south.

Today everyone is talking about Specter and how he moved from the Republican party to the Democratic party. I say who cares. This is a man that voted for the so-called stimulus bill. This was a man that Republicans couldn't count on anyways. So on Countdown with Keith Olbermann they were talking about Specter. Keith had Chris Mathews on and after about 4 to 5 minutes of Republican Bashing, Chris then said this is another bad deal that the Republicans have made just like in 1964 after the Civil Rights Act was passed. "The republicans made a deal with angry Southerners who were mad over the Civil Rights to join the Republican party". So basically what he is saying is that all the Republicans are Racist and they got the base of their party from angry white racist Southerners. So I was thinking no Republican must have voted for the Civil Right Act of 1964, right? I mean that must be why all the angry southerners came to the Republican party right.
Actually, 80% of the Republicans in the House voted for the Civil Rights Act. In the Senate 82% of Republicans voted for the bill. Would you like to know how many Democrats voted for the bill? In the House only 61% voted for it and in the Senate only 69%. By the way the Democrats were the majority rule in 1964.
As a Republican, I am not happy with the party. But it's not enough for MSNBC to just be happy that the party that they're all in bed with just picked up another vote in the Senate. NO, they have to finish things off by calling Republicans racists. I am so sick and tired of being called a racist because I vote Republican.
So let me share a few facts, a few truths. The Republican party was started in 1854 by anti-slavery expansion activists and modernizers to oppose the Democratic party. It was the Republican party that abolished slavery in 1862. It was the Republican party that also passed the 14th amendment to the Constitution in 1868 known as the Equal Protection Clause. It was also the Republicans that passed the 15th amendment in 1870 which granted equal rights to vote.
I know, don't let the truth stand your way from calling Republicans racists. The truth be known Republicans have nothing to apologize for when it comes to Civil Rights, it's the Democrats that should be taking the Racist hits not Republicans.
So let's talk about what the Democratic party has done for Black Americans lately. Well Democrats have taken away School vouchers that would help low income families get their kids a good education. Vouchers which would help alot of black children that live in bad school districts get the education that our kids black or white deserve. Democrats just raised the Tobacco tax. Did you know that 22% of adult blacks in this country smoke. So again lets thank the Democratic party for looking out for you. Next time MSNBC calls you or insinuates that you are a racist because you vote Republican email them and give them a few facts on Republicans and Democrats

Put Bush and Cheney in Jail

Yes that is right, I said put them in jail. If we are going to say that Water boarding is torture, then yes lock them up and throw away the key. For some of you that listen to my show you might be surprised that I would say such a thing. Well let me tell you why I feel this way. First, we have to decide if water boarding is torture or not. I believe that it is not but lets just say it is. We as a country have water boarded all the way back to Jimmy Carter. Yes that's right Jimmy Carter. You might ask who did we torture all they way back in the late 70's. Well I am glad you ask; we tortured our own Navy and Air Force Pilots for training purposes. That's right our own Navy and Air force. This practice has gone on from Jimmy Cater to George W. Bush. So let's put Bush and Cheney on trial but lets not stop there. We should put Jimmy Carter, Daddy Bush, Bill Clinton and every Congress man and Senater that new about water boarding. That includes Nancy Pelosi. She said that she didn't now about it but that is a lie. Not only did she know about it, she was all for it. Now I really don't think any of these people should be locked up. I am just saying if you're going to put Bush and Cheney on trial or any of there administration then everyone should have to go on trail. It seems to me that people have forgotten what if felt like after 9/11. I haven't forgot. I think about it alot. I still remember the feeling I felt when I saw those planes crash into those buildings on 9/11. I had a feeling in my stomach like I was going to throw up. I cried and had a feeling of disbelief that any person no matter how much hate you have in your heart could do such a thing. A few days later after walking around with a dark cloud over my head and feeling like the world was coming to an end, I got pissed off. I got angry and wanted us to defend ourselves, to fight back. That's when I stopped caring what the rest of the world thinks when it comes to protecting this country. We have a President that says he is all for protecting this country. He said that it is his # 1 priority. This is a lie and he should step down. He doesn't have the first clue on how to protect this Country. If he did, he would have never let those memos be released. You now have told every Terrorist that we are not going to torture you and if we are going to torture you don't worry because you are never in any kind of real danger. I wish that the Terrorist felt the same way about the Americans that they killed on 9/11. I wish the Terrorists felt that way before they decided to behead Innocent Americans.
